What is the difference between self-storage and business warehouse?

Our warehouse facilities offer larger spaces, starting at 1000 sq ft, with high ceilings. These spaces are designed mainly for commercial or industrial use. Self-storage is intended for people who require smaller spaces to store everything from household furniture to personal items and who do not want to store it at home.

How do I know what size I need?

The type of business you have will determine the amount of warehouse space required. A smaller warehouse area is appropriate for businesses with lower inventory levels, tighter budgets, and more adaptable operations, but larger warehouses may be required for businesses with higher inventory volumes, more complex supply chains, and specialized equipment and technology requirements. The size of your self-storage is determined by the number of belongings you want to store. We recommend generating a list of the goods you intend to store and then multiplying their length, width, and height to get cubic footage.

How to change the size of my unit?

If you have already reserved and/or rented a specific size of warehouse or self-storage, please give us a call, and we will assist you.

Can I put food in my storage?

Food is not allowed to be stored in self-storage.

Do you offer RV, boat, car and motorcycle storage?

Yes, Warehouse Bahamas offers storage for all types of vehicles and motorcycles. Certain sizes of boats and yachts are also allowed. Please reach out to us to get more information.

How do I get my items to the storage?

Warehouse Bahamas is drivable and spacious, allowing vehicles to come in and park in front of the warehouse space and self-storage to unload their possessions.

Can I cancel or modify a reservation?

You may cancel or modify your reservation at any time. Making a reservation puts you under no obligation.

How to modify or cancel a reservation?

You can cancel or modify your reservation by calling us or emailing us.

Do I have to sign a lease?

Yes, signing a lease for 1 year is the minimum requirement.

What are the lenghts of the different rental agreements?

Minimum 1 year.

What is the minimum term to rent space?

The minimum term to rent a warehouse space is one year. For self-storage information please reach out to us.

Do I need a photo ID when renting a unit?

Yes, we demand a legitimate government-issued photo ID, such as a driver’s license or passport. To rent a space, you must be minimum 18 years of age.

Do I need insurance for my stored goods?

If you want to insure your own goods you can get an insurance with your own insurance provider.

What are the payment terms?

1st and last months when signing, and automatic withdrawals monthly thereafter.

Will my business be able to operate at Warehouse Bahamas?

We are a very adaptable warehouse and are open to provide our services to almost any sector.

When can I access my unit?

Renters have access to their unit 24/7.

Can someone receive packages at Warehouse Bahamas?

Yes, as long as you are present at the warehouse when the shipment arrives, you can request delivery there.

Is there a loading dock area?

Yes, each warehouse space includes a dedicated loading dock. Self storage is at ground level, but does not include a loading dock.

Is there on-site parking available? Is there long-term parking?

Yes, there is enough space to park on site in front of your warehouse space. Long-term parking is not allowed.

What amenities are included with the business warehouse?

All business warehouses include a private toilet, one entrance door from the front and from the back, and a private loading dock. Temperature control and electricity are available for an additional charge.
